About Laxapana Falls

Laxapana is as powerful as it is beautiful. According to legend, it is the place where the god Saman rested during his journey. At 129 meters, it is a formidable sight, surrounded by the Seven Virgin Hills. It is also the source of Sri Lanka's first hydroelectric power project.
