About Pidurangala

Pidurangala Rock is Sigiriya’s neighbor. While Sigiriya is famous for its palace, Pidurangala is famous for the *view* of that palace. The hike is more adventurous, involving a bit of rock scrambling at the end, and leads to a massive flat summit with a 360-degree view of the entire Cultural Triangle.
