About Kumana National Park
Kumana is mesmerising because of its isolation. While Yala is crowded, Kumana remains empty. It features a 200-hectare mangrove swamp (Kumana Villu) where thousands of migratory birds nest. It is also a prime location for leopard and sloth bear sightings in total silence.
